Savings Account

With an Education Savings Account (formerly known as
Education IRAs), you can contribute up to $3,000 annually
per child. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends can also
make contributions! ESAs offer tax-preferred treatment, with
no tax on the interest earned or on withdrawals as long as
the money is used for education.

Heartland Credit Union members can now set up their own 529 College Savings
Plans. These are a popular investment choice for families to
